  4. the mistress of verbal innuendo. She appeared
  5. on Broadway in Sex 1926, Drag 1927, and
  6. Diamond Lil 1928, which was the basis of the
  7. film (with Cary Grant) She Done Him Wrong
  8. 1933. Her other films include I'm No Angel
  9. 1933, Going to Town 1934, My Little Chickadee
  10. 1944 (with W C Fields), Myra Breckenridge
  11. 1969, and Sextette 1977. Both her plays and
  12. her films led to legal battles over
  13. censorship. Two of her often quoted lines are
  14. `Come up and see me', and `Beulah, peel me a
  15. grape'. Her autobiography, Goodness Had
  16. Nothing to Do with It was published 1959.
